  1. Hi all I’m not sure if I am in the right place but I am desperately after some help with a .avi file.
To cut a long story short I have a file from a dash cam that for some reason will not play. The files either side of it work fine and are about the same file size. The file should be about 10-15 min long.
As sods law would have it I only need this one “corrupt” file as someone hit my car and is now denying all knowledge of it.
Would anyone be able to help???

It plays to around 3 minutes(12:26:16) directly in chrome.

    Downloading the entire file now.

edit: Nope. Nothing worked. Have you restored/undeleted this file?

  4. Thank you for taking the time to look into this. The file is as it was when I copied it from the camera. I don't mind if there is no sound and just the images can be recovered. I will download it again and put a new link below. I also only managed to get it to play to about 3 min. But unfortunately the incident was towards the end of the file.
    Cheers

  5. Hi thanks again. I have just uploaded the AVI file direct from the SD card on the camera (please see link below).
Again if it is not posable to rescue the actual video then just the images that I can scroll through just before the incident and the end of it would suffice.
really hope someone is able to help as i am out of my depth with this now.
    Cheers

  6. There is simply no data anymore after ~12:26. Nothing to repair from.
