So, I'm searching for an easy-to-deal-with tool which would help me author a DVD with 2,3 or more episodes of my favorite TV series!
I have already tried ConvertXToDVD and I'm not satisfied with it, so any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

EDIT: The files are MKV and I was hoping to insert some subtitles as well.

ConvertXToDVD often results in twitchy video, I don't know why! Maybe I'm setting it up in the wrong way (could it be because I'm not using the 2 pass encoding???)...

Chances are 99 in 100 that your "MKV" sources are miles away from being DVD compliant without some induistrial-strength reprocessing. Can't say much to help, as MKV is a container, not a format. It can support video having widely different structures and codecs, whereas "DVD" has rather narrow limitations. I went into this thread thinking from its title that it was about "authoring", but it's really about converting and re-encoding. I guess a lot of people out there still don't know the difference.
