So, about a month ago, a woman asked me (at the place I work at) if I could make a DVD out of the clips she shot of her father as he was dying. She gave me the memory card today so I'd like to have something ready before this month gets to far gone.

What she is looking for is a DVD that will allow her to flip through the different clips. Further I was asked to make a DVD that would only play the clip she selected (kind of like if each clip was its own special feature video). Is there a way I can do this? If so, can it be done with free software and how do I do it with said software?

As an added thing, I would also like to make a DVD she can use to look at the photos she took.

I am being offered $100 to do this (I offered to do it free, but she insisted on payment).

I am working with about 30 GB of video so I will be making multiple DVDs.

Quick thing, if whatever software I am working with could output to files I can put in an ISO image (to preview on my computer's DVD player program before burning the files or the ISO to a DVD), that would be awesome.

Load as many at a time as you like into AvsToDVD. The menus you can make with it are very basic but will allow her to choose each clip, play it, and then return to the menu so she can choose the next one. There a guide to its use at the bottom of its page here and there's a dedicated AvsToDVD thread in case you run into any problems.

AvsToDVD can output ISOs ready to test out and to burn to disc but any software DVD player can play the DVD files and won't require an ISO. Nor do you need the files to be in ISO form to burn.

I recall working with AVStoDVD a while back, but I forgot it was called AVStoDVD (no, I have not yet been checked for memory loss). This should work quite well, thanks for that.
