Does anyone have experience using the Windows Store app AV Remote (or its brother AV Cast)? I am trying to use it to Cast from my Windows 8.1 Tablet to the TV using Chromecast (which works OK). I have found it difficult to master the app but have managed to Cast photos and play music. But I am getting nowhere with playing video. Nothing I have is recognised (though it plays separately in VLC and very well in Real Player / Times.) I have just tried to play / Cast videos from YouTube without success. My YouTube video playlist appears in AV Cast but when I click on a video nothing happens --- the Play To button remains off.

I have read reviews from which I can see that many (not all) users find the app very satisfactory. I think it is something I am not doing right, and need someone who is familiar with AV Cast to advise me.
