Well not really sure, but I have convert movies to vcd and it was like a 2 hour movie, and it was 1. something gigs. So I think you might need somewhere around 500 to 600 mbs. Thats my guess

Well, it depends on the format, resolution and compression method you use when capturing... In UYVY format, some examples are:
352x240 - No compression... 304MB/min
480x480 - No compression... 806MB/min
352x240 - HuffYUV compression... 136MB/min
480x480 - HuffYUV compression... 401MB/min
720x480 - HuffYUV compression... 532MB/min
You do the math -
So I think I have to use 352x240 for my VCD is this right ? when I Captured it in AVI - what have I to do then? Java Jim

Jim,
You should read the "VCD" link on the upper left hand corner of the screen (under the VCDHelp logo, under What Is).
For NTSC, 352x240 will be the final resolution. You can pretty much capture in any resolution you want but the end result will be a 352x240 video.
