Does anyone know if and how to connect a ps2 to your computer and use it as any other dvd-rom? a ps2 is a dvd-rom, not just a player like other dvd players. if you look on the box it says dvd-rom as well as dvd-video so if anyone knows how please reaspond to this

I believe that the answer is no.
"DVD-ROM" for the PS2 is as in its games are on DVD-ROM.

If you are looking to use it as an alternate DVD-ROM drive for reading files, then it most probably cannot be done at the current time. I have not seen a drive connector. Wait. Unless the USB ports can be somehow utiziled. Hmmm. Have to ponder that one further.
However, if you are looking to view DVDs on your monitor, then you can by purchasing an item called VGA BOX. You insert the a\v connections into it and the VGA connection as well. Hope this helps!
