I am still new to pgc edit and don't really understand it well so here goes.
The release is Bump In the night by Shout Factory.
The problem is when playing the two trailers. at the beginning before the menu right after the shout logo, it freezes, but if I use pgcedit and skip them it plays fine. It doesn't play in VLC player either unless trailers are skipped, but if you select the vob file itself it will play the trailers fine. This is a problem shout knew about but never fixed. I want it to play with the trailers like it was intended and not skip them.
I know there is no way to edit the original disc all edits have to be burned to a new dvd.
I can send screens or files if need be only for the problem disc. i Just need to know what is needed.
Thank you in advance.

Original freezes to not just the rips, shout had a problem and they never fixed it. I have been told there is a problem with the structure of the original dvds, A friend told me that it might can be fixed with pgcedit but I (we) are noobs and need help.
None of our dvd players will play it without skipping over the trailers. The only thing that seems to play it is mpc hc. Our other software players won't do it ether.
We have tried a bunch of programs to rip it none have fixed the issue.

OKey. Freezes on a standalone player also then?
I'm not sure what you can do to fix it other than skip/blank/remove them. -
As soon as I checked the website my eyes felt on a scene from Nosferatu.
And yes the "Herzog The Collection" is there, for $119.99, tempting.....

Where did it freeze exactly? In the middle of a clip, or at the start or end of the playback of a clip? In the first case, I don't think PgcEdit can help, but if it's the second case, chances are that there is a bad pre- or post-command or a jump to nowhere.
Try this:
Open the DVD in PgcEdit, and go to trace mode (menu Trace -> Trace Mode). Then, click the [->>> Run] button in the bottom of the main window, and watch what happens. You can close the preview windows when they appear. If PgcEdit shows you a menu, you should click on the button that you would select normally and then on the [Select] button. When you reach the part that freezes, PgcEdit will probably issue a warning message in the trace log (in the bottom right of the main window). Copy the content of the log and paste it here.
If there is no error message, then the problem might be in the VOB files and PgcEdit can't help.r0lZ - PgcEdit homepage Hosted by VideoHelp (Thanks Baldrick)
