    when i try to make chapters with vcd easy on the chapter tab it keeps telling me that i can only make 1 chapter. "Number of possible chapter enry points 1". It is highlighted in red. can someone help me please

    This can be of two causes:
    1) You forgot to enable the MPEG Scanning in VCDEasy
    2) The MPEG you made has no GOP entry points, and therefor, no chapters

    i use tmpg to encode my movies i leave the gop structure at the default. should i change it. thank you for your help

    You need to make sure 2 things:
    1) Output interval of sequence header = 1 (and defenetly not 0)
    2) Output bitstream for edit (Closed GOP) = Enabled

    These are usually the causes for an MPEG file created without chapter capability.
