  2. Hello.

    Which SubRip's version are you using? The latest ones save the text in Unicode - UTF 8 mode.

    To solve this problem you can change settings from that program.

    In my case, I just open the text using Subtitle Edit and save the text using Encoding: 1252.

    After that the text is saved "correctly". You can open it using Notepad, for example, and all the words are arranged just like the common "pattern" below:

    1
    00:01:27,650 --> 00:01:28,893
    Surprise!

    2
    00:01:30,338 --> 00:01:32,988
    Thanks for helping this summer.

    3
    00:02:25,602 --> 00:02:27,544
    Hey, what happened
    to the Lamborghini?
    Maybe doing such thing you can solve your problem.

    Thanks.

    best regards.

  5. In subrip , Global Options, try to put the settings below:

    Save as Unicode: Never

    Line Breaks: DOS/Windows

    The other setting you can let the way as they are.

    Or, do it as suggested before:
    Open it with Notepad++
    or use Subtitle Edit , doing what I told you before, saving the text using Encoding: 1252.

    Maybe this help.

    Best regards.
