Hello all:
I purchased this card recently, and I'm happy with its capturing ability BUT I have a display problem. I have some flicker and scrolling wavy bands (subtle but noticible) on the display. I don't think it is the driver as it occurs when I load a generic Windows 2000 driver also. It also appears to be recorded in my captures as well.
I found a note on the ATI web site that this sometimes occurs on flat-panel monitors, but I'm using a VGA (NEC P750).
Any input appreciated-

Try going ito your display adapter settings and under monitor change the Refresh Frequency to 75 Hertz or what ever your monitor manual states is the optium refresh rate for your display settings i.e. 1024X768

Thanks for the input - I did try that initially as that usually corrects flicker problems, but no luck.
I called the company and after working through a number of tweaks they said it was a problem with the card, so I shipped it back for exchange. I've heard people on these boards say ATI's tech support is not great, but they were very helpful. Usually I have to argue with a vendor's tech support to convince them a component is bad, this time they told me.
Of course, I do not actually have a working card in my possession at this moment...
