    I would like to know a recommended and safe software that would convert an uploaded video to be able to be uploaded to our Kindle Fire.
    I looked at Freemake but my anti virus program warned me not to download that. (Trend Micro)

    Have you tried any non adware/bundleware software? Xmedia recode or Handbrake(if the kindle supports mp4), etc?

    You can download freemake video converter but JUST be very careful when installing it to avoid all adware extras.
