    I'm not sure what your problem is. All you need it to plug your VCD player into a VHS recorder. If your player is in your computer, then you need to have a Video Out capability.

    You can pick up a Pinnacle DC10 card for under $80, or a Dazzle Card, or even use a Voodoo 3000 or other video card with that capability.
