  1. I have been a DivX clip and the quality isnt the best and ive tryed everything that is on this site to fix it but it still is bad
    does anyone have any ideas
    i am using TMPGEnc

  2. Basically, if the input video isn't good, the output video won't be good either. To dig up an old maxim, you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

    There have been some great restorations of old films. One example is Lawrence of Arabia - made in 1962, beautifully restored in 1988-89, and wound up looking even better than the original (and sounding much, much better). Like going to Mars, all you need is enough money and you can get damn near anything done.

    However, they didn't do the resorative improvements on a single home PC with budget (nor even top-notch pirated) software. It was very expensive and done at Metrocolor Studios in London. Much of the color adjustment and noise removal was done frame by frame.
    As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
