Please can you help me!
I use this player to watch AVI (mainly Xvid) files from a usb, sometimes when i am watching a film that requires subtitles i also include a srt. file, which enables subtitles. HOWEVER these subtitles are always tiny and almost seethrough (white with no black background)
i have assumed this was the best they could get, but the other day for the first time ever since i bought this player, i was watching an avi file and upon pressing the subtitle button i was able to change the subs into three different sizes small medium and large! This only worked on that particular file and not on any others i had. I have since lost that file so cant examine it to see if there was any difference between it and the other avi's i watch.
Can anyone please tell me what caused this and how i can get the subtitles to become larger on all my avi files please, i would really really appreciate it.

I have this player and what you need to do is download firmware for it and then you can set subs to whatever you like.

Be warned that if your player is in region free mode now that updating the firmware may possibly take away region free mode. Or it may not. I have no specific idea it's just that firmware upgrades always carry some risk of removing region free mode. You either need someone to confirm that this update does not remove region free mode or if you simply don't care about that at all you could go ahead an do it. As always, we can't take responsibility if you botch the upgrade and your player gets bricked as a result.
