Hi there,
I have a video file on my computer that has over-under 3d. I am used to play side-by-side 3d video's with subtitles using ffdshow in stereoscopic player. I did all the preferences, so the player knows it's a OU file, and he has to play it like a SBS video, but the subs still won't work. I tried to play the subtitles but they were in SBS mode but only on one side. I've got no idea how to play these subs.
Thnx!
(sorry for my bad english, i'm dutch)

Not sure, you'll have to specify the sub format and maybe give some sample upload here.
Does the file play correctly WITHOUT subs? If so, at least we can rule that out when troubleshooting.
Just a wild guess, but I'm thinking the sub is already Pre-Formatted for SbS, but the ffdshow is again applying the SbS formatting to what it thinks are 2D subs?

thnx for the reply!
The subtitle's format is SRT, not special 3d subs. here you have a piece of the subs;
--------------------------------------------------------------
8
00:01:23,200 --> 00:01:25,651
Waarom heeft niemand het eerder gezien?
9
00:01:25,751 --> 00:01:29,850
Zo verrassend is het niet.
Dit landschap verandert zo vaak.
10
00:01:29,950 --> 00:01:34,090
Weet je wat het precies is?
- Nee, het zal wel een weerballon zijn.
----------------------------------------------
so these are just normal subs.
the video plays fine without the subs, so the problems have to be somewhere in FFDshow. -
...or in SP's utilization of ffdshow. I assume you have looked on the "How To" page of SP.
Have you had success with 3D subs for OTHER 3D files (SbS, etc)?
You could also try to use the AVISynth code shim in ffdshow to re-convert on-the-fly from OU to SbS (prior to the overlay) if you can't get this working as is.
