    I was looking for a program that would allow me to view HEVC in thumbnail view and found that the updated version of a program that I already had would allow me to do this. A couple of other programs said that they supported HEVC but I could get neither to work.

    I couldn't find any changelog when it was released 5 days ago but it has been updated on the developer site now

    Added support for H.265/HEVC and VP9 codecs

    Yes. I couldn't tell if it was doing anything. I usually just use Codec Tweak Tool but although I believe the latest version said that hevc was experimental, I couldn't find any way to get it to work. I stumbled onto Media Preview a while back when some of my thumbnails stopped working.
