Yep I haven't been around as much and I won't be in the future.

I've found a dedicated anime forum that I've grown to like. It has a pretty active scene and has more stuff on tv and movies and just stuff in general.

Let's face it off topic hasn't exactly been burning up the scene the last few years.

I will still check in all the time but maybe not as frequently as I have in the past.

I will be nearing my 10 year anniversary here this summer. (actually I was a lurker for awhile before joining so I may have already been here 10 years or more unofficially).

I will still be here and try to contribute when I can.

Like I said I'm not leaving for good. I'm just diversifying my posting time.

I still want to contribute and keep learning.

Truth be told though sometimes I feel like such a pretender compared to lots of the other veterans here. I only know what I know from others. I haven't dived into the depths of avisynth or x264 or now h265.

I truly appreciate all the advice and suggestions that are given freely here. It is a great resource for everyone.

I hope baldrick can keep this site alive for all time. There needs to be a living will on the internet to keep this as a permanent archive site for all things video related. I don't know what we'd do if this repository were to vanish.

It would be a greek tragedy like the loss of the great libraries of antiquity.

Please keep contributing as best you can. Even simple suggestions that you think are perfectly obvious are the ones that drive mere mortals insane by missing something so trivial.
