  1. Looking for a filter to remove these vertical Artifacts/bars (would also like to know what there called) the top pic is before my filters and bottom is after not perfect timing on them tho. These are very noticeable on my DVD player when playing the DVD I am using avisynth + Megui

    Frankly I see the bottom pic worse than the top (the before one according to you)

    Stills do not help much and how can you possibly filter something that you do not know what the problem is.

    Upload a short 10/20 second sample of the vid AND the avisynth script that you used.

  3. Don't know what they are called, but *.mp4 guy's destripe filter works well on this sort of problem (it's essentially a deconvolution horizontal blur)

    Check out near the end of the thread for the function, he made a more user-friendly function. You need to adjust the parameters for best results

  5. I find you usually need to stack at least 2 or more instances with different rads and offset values for best effect

    DeStripe(rad=2, offset=0, thr=120)
    DeStripe(rad=1, offset=0, thr=120)
