    What are some quick ways of doing this, i have a p3 733Mhz and 383Mb ram, I think of either:
    Upgrading a a quick prosseser 1.9Mhz
    Upgrading to dual prossesers (no sure what speed)
    or a hardware encoding solution
    Any Ideas

    Dual processor machine would be your best bet since the two most popular SVCD encoding apps are SMP aware.
