Hi

Roxio has released Video Pack 5.1 and is available for download from they're site. If you have already purchased Video Pack 5, you will already have the CD.

During Installation of VP5.1 it asks for the original VP5 CD Rom, so if you don't have it, it wont install. Serial Numbers is your old one.

I guess this is an upgrade for people who already own VP, However you have to un-install the previous one before you can install this one. Previously the program was very large, with video sequences explaining its functions. All that has now been removed in this release and is down to a mere 25Mb. with a basic 33Mb installation.

Graphically it looks very different, with a yucky blue with buttons that animate. Finding your way around is almost like using XP, when you finally get to where you want it looks pretty much like it did before.

It also includes label printing for DVD disks, inlay and Booklet and DVD cover.

This update fixes previous problems, all can be seen at roxios site

VideoPack 5.1 Enhancements:
Some things we wanted fixed...

The Button Editor now features a Snap-to-Grid function that simplifies the positioning of multiple buttons precisely in rows or columns.

VideoPack 5.1 now also supports multiplexing of MPEG Video Streams together with PCM audio streams for DVD usage.

The integrated Audio-Player of VideoPack5.1 now features DirectX (R) - based visualizations.

During the recording process, a bonus game is available to the user.

Bonus game?, just how long will this take to make a VCD ?, well its as before, a few minuets to construct the file before burning.

Can you get the key in the keyhole ?
