Hi,
I know it's a lot of posts about it. I've read all of them ( almost ). Still out of luck.
- tried both Win2K and Win98SE ( dual boot )
- PIII-667, 394Mb Ram, VIA chipset with 4in1, Ensoniq AudioPCI
- WinTV Go, Vdub 1.4.9
- can capture using TV Tuner without any problems
- can record sound using Sound Recorder
- during capture from composite plugged audio directly into sound card line in ( tried both - through WinTV and directly - same result ).
- everywhere Line In selected, not muted, volume Up.
- audio VU meter in VDub is showing signal and I can hear from the speakers ( lineOut form the sound card )
- used AudioSel - didn't help
Getting a very low sound level - almost just noise.
Any suggestions???

I got it working finally.
For one interested:
Problem was with hardware - I used stereo plug from mono source and for some reason playback was great, but recording in VDub - very-very low. When I swithed to mono plug - everything started to work.
