In case anyone here cares the Roxette concert dvd/bluray is set to be released December 6th.

Which countries and formats unfortunately isn't available yet that I can tell. I'm hoping for a region a bluray release so I can play it without ripping it.

But so long as I can play it eventually that is all that matters.

This along with my Godzilla 1984 bluray were two that I have been waiting a long time for.

I could have gotten the Godzilla bluray sooner I just wasn't ready to spend that much money on a single movie until now. I just finally had to have and said to hell with it and bought it.

I'm sure I'll have to pay the same price as the disc for shipping to get the Roxette bluray wherever it's being released. Though so long as I don't have to spend more than 50 or 60 dollars for it I'll be ok with it. If it starts getting up towards a 100.00 with shipping I might have to reconsider buying it. Or possibly looking for a digital purchase somewhere online using a foreign vpn to do it so i can legally purchase it.

Ok now I'll wait for all the dozens and dozens of responses to this post......

Yeah right who am I kidding? I'll be lucky to get one post saying, Roxette who?????

Oh well I'll just revel in the fact I finally have one release date and I'll finally be able to buy a Roxette concert in high def and hopefully surround sound - sure wish they'd post all the specs on region coding and audio and video info.... but anyway

Letter to Santa in the post.

I still expect this to be Zone 0/Region 0.

I sure hope so. I mean I can rip it and encode to h264 with no problem But it would be so much easier to just pop in the original disc.

    Here you go.

Now you may want to wait for someone like Amazon Germany to pick up on this since S&H from Sweden can be rather expensive.

Let me know if you take up on this option.

Well it seems that they (Amazon.de) have

    http://www.amazon.de/Live-Travelling-World-Roxette/dp/B00GBJTK64/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&i...ling+the+world

Even if you do not understand German, the site is consistent with the US/UK one so a click on the 'Jetzt vorbestellen' button is the pre-order.

Well I finally did it! I preordered the bluray

    http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00GBJTK64/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This link might be slightly different than the one above. It shows a true bluray case in the image.

I decided to splurge and go for global express 2 day shipping.

It was 39.64 euro or 53.64 usd. (for the total order not just the shipping )

Hell you only live once right???

    I will definitely enjoy this.

Even I have to rip and encode to h264 before I can even watch it on a tv thats ok. THough I do have my htpc connected to a tv sO i should still be able to watch it on day 1

Thanks again to db83 who did a lot behind the scenes.

I will post when I get it. Looks like it says dec 9th is the expected delivery date.

    LONG LIVE ROXETTE!!!!!
