    having a lot of probs converting to vcd
    had 3 films now on avi. tried to convert useing lsx-mpeg and tmpg-enc

    findin it impossible any hints or tips to help a useless newbie out :)

    I had the same kind of problem. I got a question though. I've downloaded .avi files and .divx files. If I burn one of those files will it automatically play it on a VCD player? I've tried to convert them into VCD format and I didn't get any where with that. I can play them on my computer though.

    no you wont be able to burn to disc in that format,i tried lol!!
    i cant seem to convert it to mpg

    any help out there ppl we need it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Have you checked out the how to guides on the left. look under convert Divx to vcd all in one guide.
