I bought S828 USB spy night vision camera in wich I fitted a micro SD 16Gb memory card (can be used as USB disk memory too)
Camera is a Syntek , CMOS sensor, AVI video format, 1280*960 VGA, picture 2560*1920
Unfortunely no CD driver STK02N2.4.exe is included allowing webcam function
But as battery autonomy is low the most important for me is

How to install "motion detection" in the camera

The camera spec clearly states motion detection. Contact the seller. I don't know what battery autonomy means and what if anything does the battery have to do with motion detection? The google translation wasn't clear. Did you install the files from the included disk?

You don't install, its a feature of the device accessible by a switch on the side to set to night vision mode (motion detect)

As for the battery, the run time is 130 minutes but its not clear as to each features power consumption.

Tree Tops: Seller (camerasexpress)does'nt reply; no CD disk included. I'm almost sure device has motion detect function but not activated
Bjs: No there is no switch only two one for Power on/off and IR night vision and the other for Picture/video record

All I need to do is to configurate a .txt or similar must be written in root directory (not from Sd but camera itself) where I could edit file and change settings, but I don't know how to access the file(question of push buttons combination?)

By other side if In-camera formatting available? maybe I should format micro sd 16Gb with camera itself not with PC as I did, no way too

If the device can be set to start recording when it's powered up you might be able to use the kind of motion detector that's designed for a porch light.

Amazon says that a CD is provided with this camera, however, it is worded: "CD Instructions" so I don't know if any drivers are on that CD for Motion Detection.

My spy camera still no motion detection. I would like to record from inside my car by night, but with micro SD and battery autonomy limitations the only way is manual configure setting (motion detection On/Off) if possible I think with a root file, wich I don't know format
