  1. I am trying to create a video with changing superimposed single images that will appear in front of a moving background.

The moving background is in loop mode of a waving american flag
The image that is to be superimposed is of single images of military people with names beneath photos that are in oval shape with blurred egde, created in powerpoint and is in jpeg format.
I am introducing images faded one by one with the background moving in a loop mode.
When complete this will be burnt onto DVD's

I am well versed in Movie Maker as it only allows ONE track for video and two tracks for audio.

I need to complete this project by 1 November, can anyone help me on this?
    Anxious.
    Thanks Gemini-dreamer

  3. Try Vegas Movie Studio or Premiere Elements or Pinnacle 16. All allow multiple video tracks. All have free trials.

  4. Thanks for you FAST Reply,
As this will be something new in the creation of Videos for me, other than Movie Maker, could I continue to write you with questions and answers.

Which of the two programs would be easier/faster to learn in your opinion, and that you are more experienced with? Should I have to contact you with questions. I have about 71 soldier photos with names to do.
Would each image desolve into center position be the best way to show each photo/w name?

This video that I am creating is the 3rd yr I am doing for the church honoring veterans. And each year I try to come up with an unusual presentation that usually put a tear in their eyes.
I have severl people submitting photos too.
I would like to continue contacting you should there be a problem, if this is not a problem, my email address is RISurma@SBCGlobal.net.

    Thanks again for your help

The only one of the three I own is Vegas Movie Studio. (Generally I use Avid Media Composer and Premiere Pro. I have the tablet version of Pinnacle, but don't use it as much as I thought I would.)

I'm impressed with Vegas Movie Studio, but mention the others because a) they're good, b) everyone works differently and c) I don't want to come off as a mindless fanboy.

That's an aesthetic question that I can't answer for you. It's certainly do-able.

Post back here with specific questions, I'll keep an eye out. Many others have useful advice too.
