Didn't see pptx as an option in the headingdescription of this forum, so I'm guessing I might be in the wrong place?
I'm trying to convert a friend's powerpoint presentation to a format where we can make a DVD.
Any freeware that'll do that?
I tried the converter on aTubeCatcher, and it created files that had ZERO content.

Does OpenOffice have an option to save each slide to jpg/png? If it does, then you could import the images to Windows Movie Maker and create a mp4. I don't know if WMM has a limit on how many images it can import, however.

Alternatively, download Office 2013 trial (~ 700MB and requires Win 7 and above):

then how are you both able to view it ?

or, you just have a file and want to convert it so that you can view it ?

if you are able to view it, then d/l camstudio and record it to another format and then convert it.

virtualdub (freeware) also has screen capture ability. not sure it has an mpeg-1 codec. if it does or one is d/l'able, you can use that author to a dvd, i think.
