Hi friends,
I'm fixing a bug of a DVD authoring program.
What I've found is, if the VIDEO_TS.VOB (which contains menu) is short (like 0.5 seconds), the DVD player on Mac couldn't play/show this menu.
If VIDEO_TS.VOB is longer, say 5 seconds, then DVD player on Mac plays it correctly.
Menu is in fact just an image, and VIDEO_TS.VOB is created using same image for every frame.
Does anyone if it's a special requirement or bug of Mac?
Thanks

No player, Mac or whatever, could play a menu that lasts for just .5 seconds. It vanishes before you have a chance to see it.
Video_TS.vob is part of the dvd spec. It has to be there even if the dvd soes NOT have an actual menu. That is what is happening here. There is NO menu. -
Thanks mate,
Yes I changed duration to 2 seconds, and it plays correctly on Mac.
