virtual dub filter questions

Is there anywhere to see a detailed list of what each filter in virtual dub is used for? Can you run more than 1 filter at a time or should you do it separately? I mainly need to know how to get rid of jerkiness, blockiness and video and audio not running in sync. Or should I use another program all together?

I don't think you'll ever find a filter to get rid of the blocks,
jerkiness and audio synch. That's all a matter of your proper
encoding method(s) uesd, etc.
For the most part, if there were such a filter for ridding thoes
blocks, this site might not even be here... he, he...
