Handbrake Encoding Issue

Hi there new to the forums. I have been encoding with handbrake for quite some time know but every time I encode a video using the constant frame rate setting my videos always turn out to use the variable frame rate. I encode to mp4 container with h264 and have tried everything to get it to work to no avail. When i use mkvmerge to mux it into a mkv it then goes to constant frame rate. Was wondering if anybody has had an issue like his before and if they where able to solve it any help would be very grateful.

I don't use Handbrake much and I hardly ever use its mp4 output. But I know the program has some kind of bug where it likes to switch the CFR/VFR back to VFR when you switch tabs and fiddle with other settings or something. I haven't figured out exactly when it happens. But when I use the program I make sure CFR is set just before pressing Start.

You could try latest beta build from http://sourceforge.net/projects/handbrake/files/Betas/QSV/

Or try VidCoder. It's based on handbrake.
