I have a WAV file thats ripped from a DVD of a nuclear air attack warning film.....the warning system sounds but there is a noise of a glass being broken in the middle.
I need the warning sound for a project I am working on, but I also need it to be a clean sound, ie without the breaking glass noise.....Is there ANYWAY I can remove this breaking glass sound but KEEP the warning sound....
The WAV file is a pure MONO sound and as I mention is ripped from a DVD film using Ace DVD Audio Extractor....

Excuse my nieveity and my poor explanation of what I am trying to acheive. I have isolated the WARNING SIREN, but I am trying to (if at all possible) to remove the breking glass sound from the track. On the track there is a human voice claiming "ATTACK WARNING RED!" during that section of spoken words you can also hear some sort of glass breaking over the top of the speech. If possible id like to filter out (somehow) that glass breaking sound so the speech is clear and free of other noises....

Heres a link to the video clip

Thanks for trying to help me out!!!!

Very unlikely you would be able to separate human speech from your 'breaking glass' sound. Audacity, as suggested, is still a good tool if you want to try.
Random noise like glass breaking is very hard to filter out.

However, that alarm sound is repeating, so you could clip out a part without the voice and repeat/clone it if you cut it carefully. Then you could make the result any length you want.

	Maybe you can try.
