Samsung Dvd-E360k Region 4 to Free/Unlock Help needed!

I've tried the hack for Region 2 but it doesn't work on my dvd. I even tried to change it to Region 2 then to free using this -> https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/samsung-dvd-e360/11880 but it didn't work either.
Does anyone know how to change it from Region 4 to Free or even to 1 or 2?

If you live in region 4 then call Samsung Australia or Samsung New Zealand and ask them for help. They may be willing to unlock it for you or help you at no cost. Supposedly New Zealand law requires the DVD players be unlocked or unlockable. Aussie law doesn't require this per se, but it allows it. It depends on how nice or confrontational the company is that you ask to help you with it.

Please note that Samsung and Sony DVD and BD players throughout the world are notorious for being difficult to impossible to unlock, so there are no guarantees with their machines. Your region 4 version might have different hardware from the region 2 ones that could be unlocked or maybe the hardware is the same but your model has a newer firmware and it breaks the previous unlock method. This happens a lot. Hollywood doesn't like anybody in the world owning unlocked players and they pressure the manufacturers to release new firmware that takes away region free mode all the time. If you ever get your player unlocked, DO NOT ever update the firmware or you will likely never be able to unlock it again.
