philips dvd 712 and hacking

Hello
I tried few times hack-codes using players own remote control "play 159...and play 274..." i did not manage to hack my player region free. I only manage to change region between 1 and 2. Now i cant send any command using players own remote control. I mean those hackin commands. And i also notice that my background screen has changed to yamaha dvd-background and when i try to use "play 159 ..." after i have hitted play and try to hit number "1" there is this "x-mark" in upper left corner saying that this choise is not allowed...
When i tried to hack player to region free with these "222 222 005 255 followed by PLAY" it freezes after i had hitted play and when i plugged it off and start again i didnt play any dvd´s (region 1 or 2)
My last command to player was "Play 274 002 000 128 156" and i get my region 2 back but now i cant send any hack-command using players own remote.

What could be wrong?
Should i get universal control and try hacking with that or what?
Why there is this yamaha-background?
Is there any "hard-boot" command for philips players that returns the factory defaults? (i think i have read something about when you start your player you should push few buttons and u get factory defaults...)

ok, tomorrow im gonna buy a one4all-remote and let u know how things are going with that...

I bought the one4all remote and using instructions told by vcdhelp i have now region free player..no problem.
So the solution is that u have to get one4all remote, players own remote dont do the trick...
