Hi,
I recently bought the Philips HTS3000/94 Home theater System and I have been looking everywhere for the procedure to make it Region free.
I have found information for HTS3050 and also HTS3100 but not the HTS3000.
I have tried the following,
1) Switch on the DVD Player
2) Open The tray
3) Press 9 , 9, 9, 9, 0 On the Remote.
I dont see anything on the TV Screen and I am still getting the Wrong Region Message.
Can someone please tell me the procedure in detail to make this Player Region Free ?
Thank you very much

It's the same as the 3357 one (thanks poveys):
Open the tray, press STOP 7344660
Maybe even less digits need to be pressed, I just tried several codes from several machines, as I couldn't find one for the 3000, but when I tried this one, halfway (I think after inputting STOP 7344) I saw the "Region: O" Icon.
I hope this helps, it did for me. -
After you verify the code works, post it in the DVD Hacks section for others. Thanks

I bought one today, and I had to enter the whole thing :
"Open the tray, press STOP 7344660"
only with the last entered zero it changed to region 0
At least I know it works!
