Which cluster size are you guys using for your video edit partition ?
I've read on the net 64 KB or 512 KB would be ideal.
Windows (xp,vista,7) by default use 4 KB which is optimized for an OS (small files=less space wasted but increased access time)

As large as possible, depending on which filesystem is used.

I've not even considered the possibility of contemplating cluster size until now.... maybe next time I need to format a large USB drive for storing video files I should......
I have a second question. Given many people such as myself run RAID volumes these days, would/should that effect the choice of cluster size? Say for a basic 2 x drive, RAID-0 volume.
