Hey all, Hopefully somebody can help me here, Ive been trying for hours to figure this out but couldn't so decided to register here to hopefully get some help with this issue!

Basically ive converted a 1.85GB .avi home movie to a 5.38GB .mkv(3d.mkv.h264.ac3)file, Ive converted it to SBS 3D using DVDFab 9, Now in the original movie the sound is fine BUT after converting to SBS 3D using DVDFab 9 the audio becomes -4000ms out of sync.

Could somebody help and tell me what i might be doing wrong in the converting process or even some way of re-syncing my video please?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Is it 4 seconds off all the way through, or is it in synch at the beginning and increases steadily (no big jump anywhere) to being 4 seconds off by the end?

If it's the same throughout, remove the delay using DelayCut. If it gets progressively worse it's maybe due to changing framerates. How long is the video and what is the framerate both before and after?

    Firstly thanks for your reply.

Ok the audio seems to be out from the very start, I'm at work at the min so don't have any details of the fps etc but I'll check when I get home.

Check carefully the beginning, middle, and end. If it's off by the same amount throughout, find out the delay precisely (ask if you don't know how), and remove it using DelayCut (ask if you don't know how). Then use the new audio when making your MKV, or replace the old one with the new one in the MKV (ask if you don't know how).
