Hi all,
I have a video file mpg which i need to make 40 copies (not copy protected).I have the video in 11000 bitrate. I used nero and tried making a data dvd. The issue is that, it makes successful writing on dvd, but when i put it back in drive i find dvd as blank..and no video file is in it.I check it on disk and it has the dvd written markings..!!
I tried converting it to dvd format and also to mp4 & burn.but still i face same issue.i used avs creator and tried one or two copies goes well..and from 3rd copy i face it again. I wasted nearly 15 dvd's in this. Can some one please help me out.
i have Dell XPS 6gb ram i5 processor. thank you.

I do remember reading about disc duplicating for video dvds but if memory serves they required a certain minimum number of discs before a doing a run. There might be smaller operations that would have a low or no minimum. Also I don't know about data burning versus dvd video (ie the video_ts stuff).
Good luck.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
What is the size of the video file? Can you play it on your computer?
How did you obtain and/or create this file?
When you attempted to convert to MKV, what happened? Was a file created, and can you play it?
If you take a disk which "apparently" failed to burn, and put it into a different computer, what happens?
A quick guess from the data supplied so far is that you have a corrupted file, or a non-standard MPG that failed to convert to DVD spec. Attempt to burn DATA with ImgBurn, that program will not and can not attempt to convert your MPG to DVD standard.
Is it your goal to create a disk that will only play on a PC and not on a standalone player?
