    For anybody in the world except Aussies and Kiwis the answer would be - You don't.

    Contact LG support in Australia and ask them to help you to unlock it. Do note that this will be for DVDs only. You and the Kiwis have laws that require the manufacturers to help you to unlock your players. Those of us in the rest of the world just get screwed over. It's especially bad in the USA where I live. But anyway, contact LG and they will surely help you.
