I have 4 types of vob video file.I have merged it with a software called JoinVobFiles. Now it become total size of approx 4 GB.Now I can create ifo and bup files with ifoedit software but I think does it play the video because I have listen that when a movie is more than 1 GB it cant work on DVD so it has to be splitted after reaching more than 1 GB.Now I wanting that can I create chapters so I understand when a video is ended without converting full video. If cannot then can I burn 4 GB video to DVD without any error on my TV

Yes dvd is vob as hech54 stated.

You need to author it as a dvd. You can load vob files into just about any dvd authoring program and create a new dvd from them. Some might be sticklers and require you to demux the video and audio into m2v and ac3 or wav files but that is not reencoding.

Check out avstodvd and load in your original vob files. Than you can create your new dvd how you see fit.

Fyi the 1gb deal you mention is the recommend file splitting size for dvd compliance. That is in the dvd folder video_ts the vobs shouldn't be larger than a 1gb each (thereabouts).

On a computer or file media player that is not required only when you are doing a true dvd structure.
