  1. hi

i use fairuse wizard 3d for quite some time now and like to program a lot. ripping tv-series is really simple.

one thing i could not work out until now is:
i have a series where all the episodes have a lot of different length. thats why i would like to rip the dvd with a certain picture size (eg. 696 * 392) and with a defined overall bitrate (e.g. 1360). the result would be that all the episodes have the same quality but different files size.

does anybody know if this is possible at all?

    thanks & greez.

No, the result will be that all the episodes will have different quality and different file sizes.

What if one episode consists of a man quietly reading a newspaper in an easy chair and another consists of a non-stop car chase? I know, that's an exaggeration, but do you really think both will have the same quality if given the same bitrate?

If Fairuse Wizard allows for quality-based encoding and if you really want all the episodes done for the same quality, you should probably do it that way. The guides show you can choose to use a quantizer rather than a file size.

To answer your original question, though, you can't chose a bitrate.
