    I just got cineplayer dvr 2.51 and i havent even used it yet.
    I keep getting this error saying "Unable to initialize device, only player mode is availablle.
    I am running ATI TV Wonder VE and that works fine.
    I installed cineplayer just fine. Every time I hit TV Tuner(in cineplayer) I get that error message.

    Also if it is a driver problem and I am missing a needed driver could someone pass me one(That is what I think it is)

    Check and see if Cineplayer DVR use WDM or VFW drivers. Most likely it uses WDM only, so you have to make sure you have installed the WDM drivers for the ATI tuner card.
