    How do I my .vob from Italian to English when they are played back? I am using video Lan

    if there are more than one audio tracks then in vlc click "audio" up at the top and change to a different track.

    yeah he would probably be better off re-ripping the dvd to mpg with vob2mpg and selecting only the english audio track.

    It asks for a directory during setup what do I use for that?

    "Setup" What does that mean?

    If you tried to select another audio track and it wants a directory that would mean it's looking for a separate file with another track on it. Which implies to me there is only one audio track there.

    If there is an english track on your dvd (which I hope you own in this case) I'd second reripping and selecting it.
