Well, somehow I lost an MDS file for a duel layer backup I made eons ago. My original DVD was lost by a friend who borrowed it (what a gent) and when I went to create a a new DVD from the backup ISO, because there was no layer break ImgBurn warned me it could not make a layer break.

I did a search here and on Google and unfortunately I did not find an answer specific to this.

So I am on a PC and have the latest ImgBurn, DVDshrink and I also have DVDfab. So maybe someone here will know of a way I can burn this duel layer. I'd hate to compress it down to a single layer. It would need to be shrunk by maybe 35 to 40%. Ouch.

Run it through DVDShrink....use NO COMPRESSION and output it as DVD Folders.....then use ImgBurn to burn the VIDEO_TS folder(it will then allow you to select the best layer break point).

Why didn't I think of that?! Thanks very much. Sometimes I feel like my brain is shrinking.

  4. You could mount the .iso in a virtual drive, then read the VIDEO_TS folder with Imgburn. Or extract the files with Winrar.
