when using smart ripper i always let it grab the movie files automaticaly. but on some i notice there will be like 3 or 4 more angles instead of #1 that it always grabs. my question is, what happens if i choose to use one of the other angles instead of the one that smart ripper grabs for me? will it be the same movie but shown from a different camera angle?

can someone please explane multi angles to me and any experience they have had ripping the other angles from the dvd.

    thanx............Bombero

  4. those are the extra angles....don't bother with those...let smartripper choose it for u (it's usually right)

on times u bother with those angles is if the movie has seamless branching when there's the original theatrical version and a special edition version on the same dvd....the seamless branching may be the extra scenes from the special edition version...

u can use smartripper's "file mode" the rip the vobs as is w/ the multi-angles intact and use flaskmpeg to choose which stream you wanna encode instead of letting smartripper automatically getting rid of the angles for u (thus, u can choose to encode the original theatrical version or special edition version)
