  2. Post MediaInfo for one of the corrupt files.

What are you using to play them?

Try another player. Maybe you're missing a codec?

Upload a sample for others to try.

  5. The duration is showing as 240ms.
Someone may be able to offer some solution.

To me, it suggests the file is somehow corrupt (as you did in the thread title).

Maybe an FLV repair tool could help.

    You could try this...

    http://stream-recorder.com/forum/showpost.php?p=16324&postcount=2

Edit - forget it. I tried it on the file. It wont work.

Took a look at the vid. There appears to be some copy protection at play(possibly to prevent downloading) which gives a false run-time.

Attempting to re-stream and fix the flv just ends up with a vid at the shorter run-length.

The vid has a 'broadcaster' logo. No company would touch these with a proverbial barge-pole.

The logo may be yours. But that does not make you the copyright holder.

But if you are then you should have the original vids. No need for any restoration.

Truth always hurts but I will be kind.

It was the server that added the protection layer. But as the copyright holder you can contact the server admin and they should be able to fix that.

    Too late.

My apologies. I took a quick look at your PRON site and DOWNLOADED the sample vid. It plays perfectly.

So the problem is with you not the site. But if you want to give me 24 hrs access then I will check the members section as well

Well this will be my last post on this thread since you are beyond help.

FYI the video player/server/web-site attempts to protect the download of the sample but some software will still suceed.

The real question is why or how you have all these clips as flv when the sample is mp4(avc) as the paid-for downloads are either mp4 or wmv. The flowplayer is playing the mp4 so that does not need flv.

But if you downloaded the clips some how as flv then that is where the corruption has taken place when the server/web-site does not allow that.

And if you really want the help then the very least you should attempt to answer these.

PS not my idea of PRON so do not need the 24 hrs access. Thanks for the offer all the same.

    Aye. That be right.

Not sure if the posting of the site's url is within the forum's rules but you can get it reasonably easy if you can freeze the one frame or so that was posted - just add the 'www.' bit to what you see.

Sorry to break my promise not to post any more in the topic but the OP does appear to have left the party.

If there is server corruption then I would have thought that the hoster would have some responsibility to put that right. But by the same token, any webmaster worth his salt should also have a local backup in the event of such occurances so there is then no need to recreate anything just upload it.
