How to show horiziontally recorded video correctly?

I tried recording a video message via Skype, then sent it to another skype account.

On the other skype account you can play it, but it's rotated to the left where the bottom of the video is on the right side of the player. In other words, you'd have to **** your head to the left to watch it.

So, I downloaded it (it's an flv) and it plays in RealPlayer the same way(rotated left), except now it's also stretched to file the RP screen.

Is there any way to un-rotate the file?

Did you try search for rotate video in our forum? YOu can for example use avidemux.

Pretty much every video editor can rotate 90 degrees left or right, and 180 degrees.
