Hey, guys, another quick question. This may be a little off topic, but please stick with me. Does anyone know how to access previous versions of a webpage that had content on it, but was deleted?
Let me explain: Nickelodeon uploads full episodes of their show, "Robot And Monster", to their website after the episodes first air. But they only have a certain number of episodes up at a time, and older ones are taken down when newer ones replace them.
An example of a webpage that currently has a full episode is:
http://www.nick.com/videos/clip/robot-and-monster-125-full-episode.html
And an example of a webpage that had an older episode, but was taken down, is:
http://www.nick.com/videos/clip/robot-and-monster-114-full-episode.html
Once episodes are taken off the website, they still exist on Nickelodeon's video server, so I have managed to find almost all of the episodes that were taken off the site by searching the server. There was only one episode I was not able to find. I'm not sure whether or not the episode was uploaded in the first place, but that is what I want to find out.
So what I am asking is, is there any possible way to take one of the URLs of episode pages that are expired, and see what content it had at a previous time? If I could do this, I would be able to tell whether this episode was ever uploaded to the site.
I have already tried using the WayBack Machine, but it didn't help, I was wondering if there was a more clever way of doing this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys so much!![]()

Yes. Get the administrator password and examine the system logs.
By the way, if you're downloading files that aren't linked to by any current, publicly accessible, web page, they will notice. And they will have your IP address. And if you do what I suggested above they will really notice. And the feds will be knocking on your door shortly thereafter.
Another possibility: WayBackMachine: http://archive.org/web/web.phpLast edited by jagabo; 13th Feb 2013 at 07:18.

This is what's known as not being patient enough to wait for and then go out and buy the retail DVD/BD discs. Or wait until they COME BACK into on-demand rotation (happens all the time).

The Wayback Machine keeps copies of text on various websites but it doesn't usually (maybe it never does) keep things like photos, videos, etc. as the storage requirements for those are quite large and they can be difficult to copy anyway. So it is no surprise that it couldn't help you here.

Thanks for all the responses, guys.
@Baldrick Well, thats a nice, short, sweet answer. Thanks.
@jagabo The specific files I am downloading are not on any public webpages, but lots of other files on the exact same server are openly available for downloading from the Nickelodeon website, so they probably won't be able to tell the difference. Besides, I've been downloading these videos for weeks and the feds haven't bothered me, so I think I'll be fine in that respect. I won't, however, go snooping around their system logs. Thanks for your response anyway.
@Cornucopia "Robot And Monster" is not a very popular show, so the chances of a DVD being released of it in stores is extremely slim. Even if it evee does come out on DVD, they won't release the whole season. And the episodes don't come back into on-demand rotation on the Nick website, once they're taken down, they're down for good. But the issue is not that I want to watch the episodes that were taken down, because I know how to access those. The issue is that I want to try and find out if this one episode was ever uploaded to the site in the first place. Thanks anyway for your response, too.
@jman98 Yeah, that's why I have no luck with WayBack Machine. It is useful for lots of other things, though. Thank you for your response, also.
I'll keep trying, guys. Thanks again for all your responses.
