I just noticed that problem on a wood splitter I was looking at here in Oregon. Was 1100.00 US. Special for Black Friday $1600.00 US

Last week I needed some CDR's and newegg had a 100 stack for $14.99 with free shipping, I really don't need 100 so my son said he'd split a 100 pack with me.
The next day I checked to order them, $24.99 + 4.99 shipping!!!


I was like your out of your F'n mind!!!!
You can buy a 100 pack of Verbatim DVDR's for that or less shipped!!
But I need cdr's for specific things that DVDR's wont work for but no way was I paying $30.00 for 100 cdr's!!

2 days later I checked newegg again and the exact same cdr's were now $16.99 with free shipipng
I see stuff go from $160.00 to $80.00 and back to $160.00 within a couple of weeks, etc. all the time.


But I thought it used to be against the law that you could not raise prices on something 30 days before it went on sale ?

I even see local stores do it.

I'm also wondering if some auto parts I've been looking at will be more expensive during the holiday season. Not because they make great gifts, but because I have more free time to install them.

The Black / Cyber "sales" are baloney. Why would any merchant in their right minds have a sale when customers are pouring in for the holidays anyway? It doesn't even make sense.
