anyone recommend a good sharpener for this source? I was think lsfmod since it doesnt create to much noise and can sharpen the lines.

Having troubel uploading a sample video? You can always post a request for help in this thread.
Generally, to upload a sample video click on "Upload files/Manage attachments" in the lower-left corner of the thread's Reply window. The uplaod dialog window has info about acceptable formats and file sizes.

That's not a source; that's an XviD AVI. A source would be the DVD or TV capture from which that XviD AVI was made.

And it already looks pretty sharp to me. There are some "soft" titles in sections, but they're pastel soft-focus stuff that seems to be designed to look that way on purpose.

You mentioned LSFMod, it's a popular sharpener. Its documentation has decent notes on the various settings. For instance there's a setting for edge sharpening only, no edge sharpening, or sharpen everything. There's another setting that helps prevent the "shiny" or plastic look on bright highlights if necessary. Most people just use the defaults and don't realize that it's a very versatile tool.
