Hauppauge problems

Is there any way to bypass their money hungry encryption? Something that they didn't tell me about before buying. I want to edit my recordings without having to re-encode them. Also I don't want to use their software to fix error problems either.

They're ignoring all my emails regarding this.

As of right now, I've bought a piece of kit but can't do nothing with it really. I've bought something for absolutely nothing. Thrown money down the toilet.

I've recently tried Avidemux 2.6 & it won't load the full video or allow me to cut any of it.

Tried Quicktime Pro, after dozen crashes it saves but the audio is out of sync.

By all means.....don't tell us which Hauppauge product you are talking about then.
Based on all of the information you have provided, I'd have to say it is your dish washing liquid causing your problems.
