    help, I am trying to convert the whole monster inc avi to an mp3 file using tmpegne plus 2.5 it freeze up when it hits 262,292 kb.

    HMM. . . THIS SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED TO ME AND MANY OTHERS, SEEMS LIKE THERE IS A BUG IN 2.53 OR SOMETHING OF THAT SORT.

    Yeah, but it only happens with Monsters Inc., everything else works fine.
    I am thinking that the file is too big. I don't know for sure.

    I'm thinking you downloaded the same problem file with corrupted frames.
    Download DivFix or go the DDIGEST and under Virtualdub download vdub_mp3_freeze.
    It will scan your DivX and identify possible problem frames.Then you can extract them(I would try DivFix first though)
